Hemel Hempstead’s Rainbow Peace Memorial was designed and created by artist Colin Lambert. In 2010 Gary was approached by Dacorum Council to replace the failing glazed ceramic mosaic covering the sculpture. Gary spoke to Colin Lambert and discovered that his original design was to have the mosaic in glass smalti. With Colin’s approval Gary created a new Rainbow Mosaic for the sculpture.
