Public Art Archive is an international project to both document and set higher standards for recording and managing art in public spaces. Set up by the Western States Art Federation, WESTAF, the archive celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year and has published this great Public Art Map of the USA as part of their awareness campaign.
Designed by graphic artist Kenny Be this colourful map of the USA shows icons of Public art across the country.
Iowa University Mosaic on the Map
We were thrilled to see that the University of Iowa’s ‘River of Life Mosaic’ made it onto the map with it’s distinctive meandering Iowa River.
