An intensive advanced course for those wishing to create larger mosaic artworks. The course covers all aspects of a typical mosaic commission from initial planning to final polish and focuses on the paper-face reverse technique.
Areas covered include: planning; budgets; pricing; designing; making work that is bigger than your workspace; project management; the importance of Andamento; packing mosaics; site set up; health & safety; access equipment.
As well as lectures on essential knowledge the course includes hands on making of your own small mosaic panel to go through the whole process.
