Designed and created by Gary this mosaic was created a an intentional ‘relic’ for the garden created by Leeds City Council on the theme ‘Scent of a Roman’. 

The garden design used aromatic and garden plants used by the Romans. Great care was taken to create the mosaics ‘broken’ look including cracks, dislodged tesserae and planting in between the mosaic segments.
