This mandala style wall mosaic is split either side of a glass wall. On one side is the adult waiting area and on the other the children’s play waiting area. The mosaic is correspondingly split into two with the adult side representing the Body and the child side representing the Spirit. The Body half is made from unglazed porcelain and incorporates a border of DNA code,, as it passes through the glass wall the patterns transform to glass and mirror mosaic. The mosaic includes a dedication to Belfast artist Ruth Priestly, Gary’s former friend and work colleague who was meant to work on the project before her untimely death.
