This Roman style mosaic was commissioned as a central feature to a new garden design by leading American landscape architects Oehme Van Sweden Inc. The mosaic was designed by Gary in consultation with the owner and forms the base of an ornamental pool with a fountain falling at the back of the mosaic. The mosaic is made from vitreous ceramic tesserae cut down to less than 10mm x 10mm to give that real Roman cube effect.
