International Prize for Mosaic Fish Sculpture | |||||||||||||
Once again the Erith De Luci fish sculpture has recieved a top award. Last year the 25 foot high mosaic clad landmark in Erith, Kent recieved one of the prestigious Rouse Kent awards for public art. | |||||||||||||

This year the work has won the 'Mosaic Arts International 2008 award for the 'Best Architectural' mosaic the annual exhibition run by the Society of American Mosaic Artists SAMA. The work will be highlighted at this years 'Mosaic Arts International 2008' exhibition which will run from April 3 - April 30th at the Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami, Florida | |||||||||||||

It was 20 YEARS AGO... It was quite courageous of the London Borough of Islington to let Gary and his colleagues Joan White, Ruth Priestley and Hilary Loebner loose on the massive underpass mural without a design, but that's what they did. New Review of Top Mosaic Art A great new magazine showcasing new mosaic art from around the world has just been launched. The new annual publication 'Mosaic Art Now' selected six judges representing each continenet to select the best mosaic art produced in 2007 from submissions from the popular 'Mosaic Yearbook' gallery CD. Gary was chosen as the judge to represent Europe. Sifting through over a thousand submissions each judge selected their top mosaics which are featured in the new magazine. | |||||||||||||
