This fishpond mosaic forms the central feature in an award winning small public garden in the business area of central Croydon. Designed by Gary from a "do what you like" brief the mosaic is made from vitreous ceramic tesserae using the reverse technique and measures 2 metres in diameter. The mosaic displays the finest traditions of the craft as well as combining a relaxing and interesting trompe L'oeil design with a sense of humour, the ideal low maintenance fishpond.
